Here is a chart (3×6 feet) that I did at a World Cafe in Coquitlam, BC….
One of the most interesting pieces of work in 2015 involved travelling to North Carolina to live record at the Social Impact Investing Summit for the Business Alliance for Local Living Economies (BALLE). Social Impact Investing focuses on directed philanthropic resources and other funding mechanisms to sectors of society that are most in need of such resources, including economically, racially, and politically marginalized communities. This chart summarizes opening keynotes from across the “scene”, introducing the various actors and parts of the system. The metaphor of a flock of birds emerged during the keynote session and found a prominent place on this image as the hour went by.
