Gwa’Sala Nakwaxda’xw Community
Here is a live recording reflecting the hopes and dreams of the members of the Gwa’Sala Nakwaxda’xw community for their collective future. I created this during one of my early visits to the small First Nation community on northern Vancouver Island where I ended up doing the fieldwork for my PhD. The chart was created at a visioning session. The visioning exercise feds into the Community Comprehensive Plan that was produced to help enhance quality of life on the reserve, and the drawing became an integral part of that Plan.
